Leads functional agile efforts to improve process efficiency using agile tools and methodology in alignment with enterprise practice. Leads functional and some low-complexity cross-functional initiatives and helps implement solutions for improvement. Drives Productivity Pipeline to ensure sufficiency, works with FACEs to ensure project completion and Director Leadership Team to prioritize activities to enable achievement of 2% target. Participates in enterprise Agile training sessions and helps coach functional employees

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides active oversight, management and tracking of Productivity Pipelein progress vs. target, follow up of project status to ensure completion and capturing of actual savings (FTE/$); partner with Director Leadership Team to ensure sufficiency and drive discussion on gap closure and progress. Manage R&D Agile project intake process and link to Productivity Pipeline.

  • Leads/facilitates functional Agile teams to deliver against productivity pipeline projects. Rollout improvements to business, cross-functional teams.

  • Provides guidance on improvement methodology to functional leadership, teams and individuals.

  • Member of FACE Community of Practice, sharing learnings, experiences, and best practices. May provide training on Agile methods and tools to employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Years and Type of Experience:

  • At least 5 years of prior experience leading a team as project manager or leader with strong process management knowledge; experience in R&D process management ideal but not required

  • Previous experience in Agile methodology preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze Agile opportunities and guide the function in planning execution of an Agile project

  • Confident communication and ability to influence team and leader.

  • Ability to respond in-the-moment with logical, practical solutions

  • Maintain objectivity while productively challenging the status quo at all levels

  • Organizational, analytical and planning abilities combined with a good business sense.

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative cross-functional environment and create an engaged team.

  • Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to identify, champion and institutionalize agile tools and processes

  • High energy, optimistic drive and insatiable curiosity Education Level/Degree
