The Associate Manager, Brand Engagement Performance Analytics will bring a strong knowledge of marketing analytics and research practices to ensure that Clorox brands are optimizing their marketing programs for growth & ROI. The candidate should be passionate about marketing, data & analytics with a balanced mix of agency and/or client-side experience. Associate Manager, Brand Engagement Performance Analytics will bring strong quantitative skills with the ability to provide insightful analyses, recommend best practices, support data flow and technology systems to help uncover rich consumer insights thru performance measurement. They would also be responsible for improving the process of deploying these insights into marketing and agency groups.

They will work with various cross-functional partners across Marketing (Brand, Global Insights & Brand Engagement), IT and Web Development, as well as vendors and agency partners to guide robust and strategic measurement framework, integrated reports/dashboards, and further evolve technology capabilities. This candidate needs to be a collaborative team player with experience driving integration across teams as well as skilled in building mechanism to share, educate, and communicate across the organization and with key business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Provide support for multi-channel analytics and measurement across the Clorox brand portfolio

  • Manage and evolve in-flight reporting/dashboard and optimization processes -- Focusing on consumer experience including website, CRM, Social and Paid Media. Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure marketing communications measurement is in place and leveraged for continuous improvement against business goals. Providing impact assessment and insights marketing strategies and tactics, provide clear articulation to support optimization and future decision making/planning.

  • Support and deliver Marketing Communications Dashboard reporting-- Evolve ongoing internal analytics capabilities including but not limited to digital KPI identification and reporting needs. Drive for automation of reports, dashboards, and scorecards. Work towards empowering internal & external marketing strategy and operations groups with tools, skills and capabilities to generate insights.

  • Explore and evangelize emerging Marketing Technology, Capabilities and Lexicon- Maintain ongoing expertise on marketing technologies around targeting, analytics, data visualization, ad-serving, data management, social monitoring, and search. Assess and recommend new tools, technologies and skillsets that meet business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Years and types of Experience

  • Minimum 3-7 years of relevant business experience in the digital analytics space at agency or client

  • Proven experience in data driven analysis, application, and associated technologies that enable media and digital strategies

Skills And Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of tracking capabilities and online metrics, development of KPIs, and experience using various measurement technologies such as:

  • Ad-serving and web analytics tools (tagging and log file based) such as Google DFA, Atlas, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.

  • SEO/SEM marketing data sources such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc

  • Social media monitoring technologies such as Radian6, Visible Technologies, etc.

  • Ability to interpret online research data (Comscore, HitWise, Nielsen, etc.)

  • General HTML knowledge; however, this is not a Web development role

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Education Level/Degree

  • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Marketing/Business Administration, Media/Marketing Research/Analytics or other relevant fields
