The Clorox Company Associate eCommerce Content Manager in Oakland, California
This role delivers a best in class shopper experience on our product pages across the eCommerce landscape. Creating shopper content that maximizes the platform both for conversion as well as marketing by enabling Clorox to stay on the forefront of best practices, capabilities and integrating content creation within the Clorox brand studios.
The successful candidate would have interest/experience in eCommerce, a passion for building brands online and a working knowledge of the digital shelf. They are able to confidently lead multiple complex projects to completion on time, on budget and across vendors, agencies and internal stakeholders
The Associate eCommerce Manager would be curious and have a strong bias for action in this ever-changing landscape ---proactively recommending opportunities & ways of working to unlock capability & sales in the digital shelf, voice & social commerce space.

eCommerce Content Planning & Creation:
Lead content integration for Nutranext portfolio of retail brands. Establish an efficient & sustainable process to execute best-in-class content creation/publication across eCommerce platforms:Partner with manager to develop and execute studio integration roadmap
Assess existing PDP content, process & vendor partners to identify opportunities & efficiencies
Establish & execute prioritized roadmap for content creation, publication, Ratings & Reviews/Q&A & studio education with key stakeholders
Lead Annual Planning and Content Creation process with Studio & agency partners for assigned brands:
Manage emerging content trend projects (ie Mobile Hero, AR, 3D, Video)
Drive team knowledge on competitive & industry best practices, emerging trends, technologies & capabilities
Establish process to evaluate relevancy (to priority customers & brands), timelines for adoption, vendors in the space and assess business impact vs. cost/complexity
Partner with Electro to keep them ahead of trends & manage internal capabilities
Manage test & learns & expansion roll-out plans.
Act as strategic content lead on channel delivery (syndication/publication) project team
Partner with content & syndication team to ensure business needs, project deliverables & timelines remain on track
Work with team to develop next 180 days of project to maximize business impact & stay within project scope
eCommerce Channel Shopper Marketing (SMG)
Lead Voice commerce work as part of overall voice strategy. Partner with key voice players Amazon & Google to enable Clorox's first mover advantage on these platforms.
Work with Amazon and Google partners to Identify & manage test & learns/pilots in this space
Establish & Socialize "working" list of best practices in partnership with Commerce COP
Lead Post Performance Analysis (PPA) of pilots and POV on evolution of pilot strategy
Develop working knowledge & socialization of social commerce and application for Clorox.
Years and Type of Experience:
- Minimum 4-6 years eCommerce, shopper marketing or brand management experience required
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of digital properties, including web, mobile, e-mail, social
A strong eye for design and communication -- both written and visual -- and intuition for what content is compelling for shoppers as they research and buy products online
Exceptional project management skills and cross-functional team leadership required; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Highly proactive, insights-driven and fact-based in approach to challenges. Able to research and present solutions & recommendations on marketing/content obstacles & opportunities
Agency management experience, ideally providing both direction and freedom to produce "best of" work
High sense of urgency with ability to thrive in ambiguity, a knack for simplifying complexity
Organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail
Interest in becoming a tenured subject matter expert in eCom Content
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word. Strong MS Excel skills preferred
- BS/BA degree (MBA a plus)
