The Clorox Company Transportation Support Coordinator in Alpharetta, Georgia
The Transportation Support Coordinator provides reporting and administrative support to the department as well provides customer support for the Customer Pick Up Program. Publishes weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports as needed by Department. Manages the inquiries to the customer pickup mailbox on rates and contracts, following the program's guidelines, policies and procedures. Works closely with the transportation support team on providing data set up support as needed by the Regional Transportation Managers. Provides ad hoc reporting and analytical support for cost savings initiatives. Works with carriers and Clorox internal partners to resolve freights payables discrepancies

Analyze and provide solutions to resolve all master data relevant issues that provide results and support to other Transportation members and cross functional team members or groups. Helping to identify root causes that delay paying freight invoices, and providing freight payment solutions.
Manage and maintain Clorox's Customer Pick Up (CPU) Program. Create, communicate, manage and maintain CPU freight rates in our various systems and databases (CPU database, and SAP). Create, manage, and maintain CPU paper contracts for Supply Chain Managers and Clorox customers. Manage all CPU issues and provide solutions.
Manage and Maintain master data within the Transportation Management Systems (Sterling, APO, and SAP). Enable the successful and timely management of key operations master data. This includes ensuring rate updates are loaded timely and accurately into SharePoint & TMS.
Partner with internal customers (Regional Transportation Managers, Supply Chain Managers, Freight Payments Auditors, Customer Service, etc.) and with external customers (Transportation Carriers, Brokers, and Clorox customers) to provide transportation support.
Lead or be involved with cross functional team ad hoc projects that Transportation has stake or ownership
Create, maintain, and distribute key cost and service reports on weekly, monthly or quarterly basis.
Develop, write and maintain process documentation
Years and Types of Experience
- 2-3 Years in Transportation, Logistics, or Production Operations
Skills and Abilities
Transportation Management Systems experience is a plus
Freight Payment experience is a plus
Understanding of fundamental transportation concepts: transportation/distribution
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
SAP system experience is a plus
Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
Experience highly desirable
Ability to work independently, creatively and efficiently with minimal direction
Planning and organization skills: ability to establish work plans, "multi-task", and prioritize simultaneous projects.
Thorough and detail oriented, across all aspects of responsibility areas
Team player with initiative and strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
High School Diploma
BS/BA degree or 2-3 years work experience preferred
Logistics Management degree preferred
